Every single one of our designs have been manually digitized. We take pride in using excellent software to accurately digitize all designs. Striving to use the minimum amount of jump stitches required to create beautiful designs, and to ensure a pleasant stitch out.

The standard thread we use is mainly Sulky, Gunold, and Madeira threads. 

However, there are so many great threads available on the market and you choose what works best in your own machine.

YES!  Absolutely.

Definitely, every single design has been thoroughly tested for quality by both the *in house and outside devoted testers* prior to publishing. They have been stitched again and again until they are adequately ready for release. 

Sometimes, rarely, as with everything, a detail may be missed. Any issues that arise are most likely due to an element that can be assisted with.  If you are having file or stitching issues, please contact us for support and we will be happy to assist you.

It is always highly recommended to do a test stitch-out prior to using any designs on the intended garment, fabric/material or finished good as results may vary depending on textile, stabilizing, hooping practices etc.  

Test stitching is a common practice that should be implemented BEFORE adding embroidery stitching onto a purchased item.

When encountering issues with designs, often, the best things to try first are to ensure adequate and accurate stabilizing, check suitability of materials, and/or machine tension(s).

ThreadMode Embroidery IS NOT LIABLE for items that may be harmed/damaged during a stitch-out. We do NOT provide reimbursement or compensation for damaged blanks, including garments, toys, bags, towels, etc.

The simple answer is No.

However , if you have an embroidery editing software and digitizing knowledge you can always try, BUT it is not advised to resize any design more than 10-20% (either larger or smaller).

Digitizing is done at a specific size, for each design, to
maintain the integrity of the stitching. The density of the designs changes with altering them, seam allowance areas can be off and matching pieces may not line up.

Resizing anything is SOLEY AT YOUR OWN RISK.  The design quality is only guaranteed in the sizes we provide and have tested.

ThreadMode is UNABLE to do any custom resizing.

This is the policy. It is due to the electronic digital nature of the products and the ability to be replicated, as such there are absolutely NO refunds or exchanges. Period.

Each and every embroidery machine is different in their hooping capabilities. The minimum and maximum stitching field area can differ substantially, AND it is the customers responsibility to know and understand what their machine is capable of.

What machine file extensions are included in the download ?

Many embroidery machines will accept one of the formats offered in this shop.

Our designs are provided in the most accepted machine formats including as listed below :

We do NOT provide any other design formats other than what have been listed above.

All our design files are delivered by way of instant download in a ZIP file.  

The zip file consists of the most accepted embroidery formats in their own file folders, instructions in pdf format, and a .jpeg picture of the design.

You will be able to retrieve the instant download files once the purchase has been “completed” and the funds have been approved by the payment company.

You can access the files directly on the payment confirmation page, or in the email download link that is automatically sent to the email address associated with the account.

Alternately, the files will be available for download in your customer account.

Purchased designs will not be forwarded to any email address other than the one used to procure the designs.

We highly suggest that you download all your designs upon purchasing them. Whilst unlimited downloads are provided as a customer convenience, please remember that we sell digital electronic machine embroidery files and not cloud services or storage services. ThreadMode reserves the right to change the policy of allowing unlimited downloads at any time and without notice and is NOT liable for lost designs, or designs that were not downloaded.

All designs will remain available for download as long as the ThreadMode Embroidery website exists.

Yes, most definitely you can sell finished completed projects !

Please respect the hard work, talent, creativity and ingenuity and the time an artist takes to produce quality work.  Do not share (sell, resell, lend, trade, or gift, or in any other way distribute) the digital design files that are copyrighted by ThreadMode Embroidery.

When you make a purchase at ThreadMode Embroidery it is being done though the Shopify network. You will notice the padlock in the bar before the https. This signifies that you have now entered a secure server so you can be very confident the information you enter is protected.

All payments are placed though the Shopify and PayPal processes and store merchants never see credit card, banking, or payment information.

Yes, you can.

You may edit the designs to add text, combine designs, and you may even use your own creativity and “Frankenstein” designs for your own personal use. You may not however alter designs in any way and call them your own or sell those altered digital designs.

We do highly encourage the use of our designs being stitched onto items that you sell or selling the finished completed In the hoop items.  Our designs may be used in your business as long as they are not being mass produced (i.e.: more than 1000) and cannot be used on a production line.

There is no limit, as to the number of times, you may stitch the designs onto tangible items for sale.

Yes, we do allow this and will offer a class group discounted rate on designs to be taught. Please contact us by email to inquire about bulk pricing for students.

Under no circumstance may you use any of the images or artwork belonging to ThreadMode Embroidery.

We advise you to create stitch outs of your own and display those for prospective customers.

If you have any pictures of items you've made with our designs, we would be THRILLED to display them on our blog projects page or display them in the Facebook group.

The Site and the Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as the servers for our email communications who are provided access to user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about promotional offers. If you would like something from the store stitched or put onto an item, please have the person/or business doing the embroidery purchase the files.

The license to use our designs is Non-transferable and cannot be passed to anyone else for any reason without explicit written authorization from ThreadMode Embroidery. The designs and all copyrights therein belong to ThreadMode Embroidery and are protected under international copyright laws.

All ThreadMode designs, either purchased or free, CANNOT be sold, lent, traded, shared, borrowed, edited to resell, given away or included in any digital files that are being distributed. This includes  purchasing with the intent to share files with family and friends. Sharing is strictly prohibited.

ThreadMode works very hard to bring you quality designs at reasonable prices.

Please respect the designers hard work and time.

We reserve the right to immediately and without notice terminate any account holder who is known to be sharing/distributing design files. The account will be closed, and all instant download files will be removed and expired forever.

Digital files are not required to be infinite or unlimited downloads, that is merely done or convenience and therefore any and all who violate our terms will lose those abilities.
